CASE employs three strategies to achieve its goals:
Enhancing Program Quality by providing training and technical assistance to after-school providers, and designing custom career-based model projects. After-school programs interested in enhancing program quality may wish to take advantage of the following services:
  • After-School Database and Management System (ADaMS) – Data collection and evaluation support
  • Project Management – Technical assistance, program support, and site visits
  • After School Initiative (ASI) – Funding opportunities for after-school programs
  • Kids’ Day Series – Multi week curricula-based projects focused on math, science, technology, and the arts with culminating events
  • Monthly Collective Meetings – Training and networking events for after-school professionals
  • AmeriCorps – Member teams who perform service in after-school programs

Building Relationships and Expanding Resources by cultivating relationships with foundations, corporations, individual donors, and after-school service providers to encourage collaboration and to foster a shared investment in CASE programs. Groups interested in learning about building relationships and expanding resources should consult with CASE for help with:
  • Identifying funding opportunities
  • Developing collaborative effort to respond to funding opportunities
  • Cultivating new funds from foundations, corporations, and individual donors
  • Creating grantmaking systems for fund distribution
